Designed originally to fill the increasing markets of high powered SUV’s and luxury sports cars. The Grande Sport kits are usually over 370mm in diameter and feature the striking B38R or B40R multi piston calipers. Application development of Grande Sport kits concentrates on some of the new generation of ‘super saloons’ such as the RS6, RS4, M5 and C63 AMG. Visually beautiful and with stopping performance to match they are the perfect choice for all performance cars fitted with at least 19’’ wheels. Each kit uses a set of pistons carefully matched to the individual vehicle, so although large, these calipers always retain excellent O.E pedal feel. Discs are a two-piece configuration to keep the overall weight to a minimum. The rotors are machined from the finest quality European steel billet before being heat treated, faced, and hand finished to create a perfectly flat braking surface. The bell of the disc is machined from the same high quality alloy as the calipers and is hard anodised for protection from the elements.
As with all TAROX kits the Grande Sport range integrates with all modern day driving assistants such as ECS, ABS and dynamic driving aids. Each kit features;
- Hand assembled calipers machined from the highest quality billet alloy.
- Heat treated CNC machined billet rotors in either F2000, Sport Japan, C83, or ZERO.
- Hard anodised alloy disc bells.
- Uprated brake pads.
- CNC machined alloy mounting brackets with bolts.
- Braided & coated brake lines.
The 'Bespoke' way...
For the bespoke touch all brake kits are tailor made, for the car and for you. For each application the calipers are fine tuned to maximise performance to that specific chassis. Furthermore we offer a choice of caliper colours, disc styles and pad compounds to ensure your kit performs perfectly in any scenario.
All TAROX calipers are anodised, never painted or powder coated. The surface of the alloy is lightly abraded before the pigment is chemically bonded to the alloy to create a beautiful satin finish. Currently we offer colour anodising in red, blue, green or gold. Our black caliper option is an especially tough type of protection called 'Hard Anodising' which is recommended for those who wish to use their cars on the track or for those drivers with a less meticulous car wash regime.
