The Revo Carbon Series and Ziroctec© Air Intake system is a direct replacement kit and includes a beautiful carbon lid designed to increase the flow of air by utilising the enlarged diameter outlet and increased volume. The Revo Panel Filter upgrade replaces the restrictive stock paper filter, and a Revo 4” Zircotec intake pipe allows air to flow smoothly to the enlarged turbo inlet, resolving the restrictions found during flow testing of the OEM system to improve your engines response and the power it can create.

CARBON AIRBOX LID
Manufactured using the highest quality materials, the Revo carbon airbox lid directly replaces the standard plastic part with an increased outlet size of over 13% being fed by specially designed airflow channels. A gloss carbon finish coupled with impressive performance benefits delivers in form and function, looking great in the engine bay yet still performing above and beyond the OEM part.
ZIRCOTEC INTAKE PIPE
The newly designed true 100mm inner diameter pipe smoothly flows air from the carbon lid out directly to the turbo inlet. Removing the corrugated plastic section of the stock pipe provides the smoothest possible airflow. The 24% size increase and thermal properties of the Zircotec coating keep intake temperatures lower, allowing the 2.5 TFSI engine with Revo ECU performance software to produce more power
SILICONE HOSES
No detail has been overlooked when reducing restrictions within the stock airflow system. The plastic hoses on the stock system are designed with a corrugated style to flex with the engine movement, while this has its place it also causes a large amount of turbulence as the airflow doesn’t have a smooth direct path to the turbo. We designed the silicone hoses with stepped internals to ensure a flush fit and to minimise turbulence while still allowing for engine movement.
TURBOCHARGER INLET
With the Revo turbocharger inlet pipe upgrade, you can achieve maximum performance, due to unique design features and Zirotec © heat-reflective coating. The data gained from extensive testing of the stock part showed that increasing the inlet size to 4” and maintaining that internal cross-sectional area throughout as much of the pipe as possible produced significant airflow increases and subsequent performance gains on the 2.5 TFSI platform. PRO PANEL FILTER
Revo Panel Filters use multi-layered foam technology to trap dust and dirt while maintaining flow efficiency over time. Using foam increases the filter’s surface area and is washable, compared to standard paper and cotton filters which trap dust on the surface and become less efficient the more they are used, choking the engine and reducing performance.
Research and Development
All Revo products are designed in-house and are rigorously tested utilising an in-house 3D printer & scanners, the latest CAD and CFD programs, hub dyno and Revo data acquisition software. The Revo intake allows the turbo to run more efficiently, intake a larger volume of air and minimise turbulence to increase both power and torque, as highlighted during controlled dyno testing.
Testing was carried out with consistent conditions on both the OEM intake and the Revo Carbon Series and Zircotec Air Intake System on a 2019 Audi RS3 running Revo Performance Stage 2 ECU Software.
PERFORMANCE DATA
The results show improvement throughout the whole rev range, but especially in the midrange. The Revo intake system shows an average gain of +11WHP and +17NM torque over the stock parts. Increased airflow also delivers impressive peak performance gains of +22WHP @4700rpm and +35NM @3900RPM over the stock intake system.
