Forge Motorsport Hyundai i30N/Kona N/Veloster N Cold Air Intake
Upgrade your Hyundai’s airflow with the industry-leading intake system from Forge Motorsport. This aftermarket cold air intake system improves your vehicle’s airflow by routing air more directly into the engine using a 102mm diameter CNC mandrel bent alloy pipe. The system also adds a high-flow, high-efficiency air filter in place of the more restrictive factory air filter, and allows cooler air to easily flow into the engine.
The intake diameters have been carefully tuned to provide exactly the correct quantity of air, ensuring solid consistent power gains throughout the rev range without any loss of low-end torque. The pipework is specifically designed to feed the turbo without interruption, resulting in a gain of induction acoustics under acceleration, improving the driving experience and adding a bit more drama to the Hyundai’s 2.0 four-pot engine.
Forge Motorsport turned to industry leaders and long-term filtration partners, Pipercross, for the filtration system. The multi-layer foam construction filter recommended by Pipercross works perfectly in Forge’s ‘Hi-Flow’ range, providing a large filter that flows 60% more air than the stock filter. The intake is finished off with Forge’s unique black thermal powder coating.
Hyundai boasts figures of 275bhp and 278lb.ft on their standard vehicle. When tested on the dyno with this intake, Forge Motorsport’s CAT backed performance exhaust development vehicle reached figures of 296bhp and 310lb.ft!
