Description
The Forge Intercooler for the Audi TTRS 8S (2017 Onwards) is a high-performance upgrade that offers real-world increases in power and temperature drops. Designed specifically for the TTRS 8S chassis, this intercooler features a bar and plate design with a huge 640x250x100 core size. Compared to the stock intercooler, the Forge Intercooler offers a 56% increase in surface area and an impressive 94% increase in volume.
The integrated pipes in the end tanks allow for the retention of the stock boost hoses, although they can be replaced with Forge Motorsport’s boost hose set if desired. The intercooler comes with a modified genuine Audi TTRS crash bar, which is finished in a black crackle powder coat for maximum longevity.
Testing has shown that the Forge Intercooler cools much quicker and delivers a greater drop in temperature compared to the OEM intercooler. On a stage 1 car with map and exhaust modifications, the intercooler resulted in a gain of 50 bhp and a drop of 41°C in peak inlet temperature. Stage 2 mapped cars can expect even more impressive gains.
