The Forge Motorsport FMOC11 Oil Cooler Kit is a high-performance cooling solution designed specifically for the Hyundai i30N and Veloster N. Developed using Forge Motorsport’s expertise in the BTCC and Mini Challenge race series, this kit provides race-proven cooling capabilities for both on and off-track driving.
The FMOC11 is engineered with the same expertise applied to Forge Motorsport’s championship-winning cooling packages, ensuring superior performance and reliability. By lowering oil temperatures, this kit ensures sufficient lubrication of your engine’s internal components, even under extreme driving conditions.
The oil cooler radiator is strategically located at the front of the vehicle’s radiator grill, allowing for optimal airflow and efficient cooling. During development, Forge Motorsport observed significant reductions in oil temperatures, ensuring optimal engine performance and longevity.
The FMOC11 features an inlet and outlet placement that ensures optimum flow, preventing cavitation (air locks) within the system. This eliminates the risk of engine fatigue and potential damage to internal components due to insufficient lubrication.
The FMOC11 kit retains the factory oil to water cooler, effectively doubling your engine’s oil cooling capacity. It includes a bespoke laser-cut aluminium bracket for perfect fitment to the i30N crash bar. The kit also comes with two pre-assembled, high-quality double braided AN-8 oil lines for easy installation.
The kit incorporates a thermostat built into the oil cooler sandwich plate, set to open at 85°C, which has been determined as the optimal working temperature during testing. This ensures that your engine operates within its most efficient oil temperature range, regardless of how hard you push the vehicle.
The Forge Motorsport FMOC11 Oil Cooler Kit includes a Forge Aluminium sandwich plate, a twin pass oil cooler, M6x20 fasteners, M6 washers, oil lines, M6 Rubber Riv nuts, an M20x1.5 adaptor, and all the necessary fixings for installation.
