VISIBADGE Installation Guide

Please read the full guide before starting installation. If you are unsure about any part of the install process, please contact us, or use a qualified installer. We offer installation on this product.

What’s included

Open the package and check that you have received:

• 1 × VISIBADGE badge/display

• 1 × wiring attachment

• 1 × spare adhesive pad

Please report any damage, missing components or issues to a member of our team within 48 hours of delivery.

Installation

1. Remove the original badge

Using a suitable trim removal tool, gently remove the original badge from the outside of the vehicle. Take care not to damage the surrounding paintwork.

Remove any rubber bungs left behind in the holes where the original badge’s prongs were fitted.

2. Access the inside of the boot

Remove any interior trim panels necessary to access the area behind the badge inside the boot or tailgate.

3. Feed the display wire through

Gently feed the VISIBADGE display wire through the hole in the bodywork. Make sure the wire is not trapped or damaged as you guide it through.

4. Fit the VISIBADGE

Remove the protective backing from the adhesive pad. Align the badge with the existing holes, then press firmly around the edges to secure it in place.

Do not press on the centre of the display, as this could damage the screen.

5. Connect the wiring

Connect the two splicing wires to a suitable 12V positive supply and vehicle ground (negative).

You can use the number plate light wiring if you would like the display to operate when those lights are powered. On some newer models, this may include operation with the vehicle’s daytime running lights; operation will depend on the vehicle’s lighting configuration. Alternatively, a suitable 12V supply of your choice can be used.

Check the polarity and identify the correct wires before making any connections. If you are unsure, ask a qualified installer for assistance.

6. Connect and test the display

Plug the display into the wiring attachment using the small connector. Turn on the selected power supply and check that the display operates correctly.

Once everything is working, refit any interior trim panels removed during installation.

Connect to the app

7. Download Frenix

Download the Frenix app from your phone’s app store and ensure Bluetooth is enabled. The app should link to the display automatically.

8. Personalise your VISIBADGE

Connect your phone and follow the instructions within the app to upload your own images and videos to your newly installed display.

Your VISIBADGE is now ready to enjoy!
