Description
The ECS Tuning Billet Tunnel Brace for the modern day MQB chassis replaces the thin stamped steel brace installed from the factory. The substantial added thickness and width ensures a more rigid connection to both sides of the tunnel. The chassis brace is CNC machined out of 6061-T6 billet aluminium and beautifully anodized in your choice of gloss red or gloss black to offer both great looks and durability.

Our ECS Billet Rear Tunnel Brace was designed, engineered, tested and quality inspected by our Research and Development team in our Wadsworth, Ohio facility. We strive for the highest level of precision and quality through leading-edge product development technology including FARO laser scanning for reverse engineering and quality inspection, SolidWorks 3D CAD modelling, rapid prototyping utilizing our in-house 3D printer, and rigorous long term product testing.
INSTALLATION AND SUPPORT

Installation is simple. The brace mounts into the factory position and re-uses the OEM hardware.

Mounting nuts are reusable. Replacements are available under ES470794. Torque to 20 Nm.

This product is not compatible with our ECS Aluminium Street Shield Tunnel Brace and/or our ECS Rear Chassis Brace Set.
