K&N Oil Filter – VAG MQB / MQB EVO 1.8/2.0 TSI

K&N Oil Filter – HP-7038

The K&N HP-7038 is a high-performance cartridge oil filter designed to keep your engine oil clean while maintaining strong oil flow throughout the engine. Whether you’re building a performance car, running on track, or simply want a quality filter for everyday driving, this is a solid upgrade over a standard replacement filter.

What It Does and Why It Matters

Your oil filter plays a vital role in engine health – it removes harmful particles and contaminants from the oil before they can cause wear on moving parts. A poor-quality filter can restrict oil flow or fail to trap fine particles effectively. The K&N HP-7038 uses high-efficiency filter media with uniform pleats – meaning the filtering material is folded in a consistent, precise pattern – to maximise the surface area available for filtration. This allows the filter to trap more contaminants without restricting the flow of oil around the engine.

This filter is particularly well suited for use with high-quality fully synthetic motor oils, which are now standard in most modern and performance engines. It is built to handle the demands of both everyday driving and more demanding conditions.

• High-efficiency pleated filter media for effective contaminant removal
• Designed to allow high oil flow rates, reducing strain on the oil system
• Compatible with synthetic motor oils
• Manufactured to strict engineering standards and covered by a K&N limited warranty against defects in materials and workmanship

Important: Always replace this filter at the interval recommended by your vehicle or engine manufacturer. The K&N warranty applies when the filter is installed and replaced according to these recommended service intervals.
