Your original catalytic converter will typically have 400 or 600 Cells per square inch (CPSI) these original cats are restrictive in their flow typically allowing an open area of around 55-65%
Milltek Sport Hi-Flow Sports Cat which will be fully integrated into a large bore downpipe has only 100-200 CPSI depending on application
These cats have an open area of between 75-85% thus reducing back pressure substantially and increasing flow rates all very desirable for extracting more performance especially on Turbo-Charged engines.
- Emission levels are maintained at legal limits by careful selection of the volume of the metallic substrate.
- Lambda probe positions remain unchanged from the original equipment.
- Manufactured from 304 aircraft grade stainless steel.
This Milltek Kit Includes:
- MSFD193: Hi-Flow Sports Catalyst and Downpipe

Perhaps Millteks biggest strength is their close collaboration with manufacturers and dealerships. This co-operation ensures that almost as soon as a vehicle becomes available, there is a full Milltek exhaust system to fit it. From downpipes to high flow cats and cat-back systems to compliment it.
Although they are best known for their excellence on the VW Audi Group scene. Milltek have expanded their range over the past few years to include a huge range of makes/models including Mercedes, Range Rover, Porsche, BMW and Nissan. All Milltek systems are mandrel bent to ensure maximum flow. Moreover Milltek make sure that before they release a product it is tested extensively for quality and durability, in real world road situations and rolling roads until engineers are happy with it.
